The Foundation is governed by its Board of Directors, administered by its Executive Director,and represented by its Gift Coordinators who provide the main point of contact with individuals, organizations, and congregations. (See the Contacts page)

Gift Coordinators encourage congregations to host a seminar, at no charge to them, as follows:

• Christian Estate and Will Planning (a 2-hour presentation outlining a Christian Comprehensive Estate Plan) (see outline)
• Lutheran Foundation Canada and Gift Planning (a 45-min presentation that focuses on tax reduction through gift planning)
• Money Matters (a 1-hour presentation on Budgeting and Debt Management)

Gift Coordinators work closely with potential donors to ensure that donors have all the information they require to properly direct and strategically develop their estate gift plan. This may include:

• Sourcing additional program information from various LCC organizations
• Researching specific tax reduction strategies on the donor’s behalf
• Assisting in the development of clear language within the will to ensure the gift is correctly addressed and the proposed use is clearly understood
• Working with the donor’s paid professionals to ensure they understand the gifting goals of the donor
• Keeping in contact with donors on an on-going basis
