Lutheran Foundation Canada serves Christ and His church by encouraging amongst all God's people a godly stewardship by offering opportunities for individuals to support the proclamation of the Gospel and the mission and ministry of Christ's church through bequests, legacies, endowments and other gift plans.
The Foundation provides the means by which those materially blessed by the Lord may as a fruit of faith follow the direction given by St. Paul to Timothy:
As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
It is our prayer that God would bless Lutheran Foundation Canada in their service to our Synod and bless His people as they respond to His grace, love and mercy.
Cordially in Christ,
Rev. Ralph Mayan, President Emeritus
Welcome! There are many people within the church who have experienced the joy of giving back to the Lord a portion of that which they’ve been blessed. They do this not out of pride, nor out of duty, nor out of a desire for personal recognition; they do it for the love of Christ in their heart, and to acknowledge for themselves that everything they have is a gift from God. What better way to thank Him then by using a portion of the gifts He has given for the mission and ministry of His church! And yet, there are those who desire to do more. After a life-time of faithful stewardship to the church, by way of a bequest, they choose to also remember the church in their will. 1Timothy 5:8 encourages us to provide for our families, but in so doing, let us also remember we are a part of God’s family. With the use of tax reduction strategies, the Foundation can assist you in your estate plan, in order to reach your charitable giving goals.
